Little Morning Sunshine (blog) The Mighty Stubborn Indigo Soul,,,,,,,,,,, Indigo terminology is becoming more popular as our World becomes more complicated. More and more of these unique and gifted Souls are reincarnating into the new age of Aquarius that began several years ago. Ancient astrologers thought of Aquarius as ‘the sign of all things that are newly invented’. This is why this sign - the Age Of Aquarius - is linked so strongly to technology. Aquarius is also an air sign and therefore highly communicative, bent on gathering information which echoes what is coming towards us. Aquarius has a strong need for independence and individualism, originality and inventiveness. Aquarius is visionary and creative, but rebellious too. Aquarius’ job is to challenge authority, tear down existing structures and replace the outdated, perfect tasks for the Indigo Soul. There is nothing ordinary about an Indigo, they are born with fire in their bellies and as stubborn as the bull to back them up. Indigos march to a different beat, their drum is nothing like the ‘other’ masses, they are one of the most humanitarian type humans, they see social wrongs and move to right them. Their work is through mobilizing groups into action with their altruistic and democratic Spirit. Indigos posses special, unusual and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities, they are, after all the next stage in human evolution. The term Indigo originated in the 1970’s, the work of Nancy Ann Tappe first introduced the concept of ‘life colours’, she published books about the colour of the human aura. Tape stated that she began to notice children with indigo auras in the 1960’s. Descriptions of Indigo people include they are empathetic, curious, and strong-willed. They are often perceived by friends and family as being strange, they possess a clear sense of self-definition and purpose. They show a strong innate subconscious spiritually from early childhood, they have a strong feeling of entitlement or deserving to be here. They often have high intelligence and inherent intuitive ability, their resistance to rigid, control-based paradigms of authority often get them into trouble and cause them grief (on many levels). If you yourself feel you are an Indigo, or if you know of someone who may be, perhaps your own child or a sibling, please read the ‘The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived’, written by Lee Carroll, it is a great source of information and provides answers to questions I am sure you have been asking yourself, I am so glad I read it. Indigos are gifts to be treasured without a doubt, they are so terribly misunderstood, more awareness needs to come to the forefront for these unique humans so we don’t mess up and miss out on why they are here. We need their help more now than ever. Much love and devotion Annanda

Little Morning Sunshine (blog) The Soul Of The Empath....... Deep inside the rainforest, I stood listening to the thundering noise of the waterfall in front of me and in the time it takes to switch on a light, I suddenly realized something about my Self. Actually what had just become a flash in my Soul was a new awareness, I had just witnessed a moment inside of me which had never happened before, at least not quite like this. Learning how to distinguish when our Ego is coaxing us in a certain direction with its convincing mind talk, or settling into completely trusting when our Soul is expressing its Self with gentle persuasion, is the work of any Spiritual journey regardless of how deep you dive into it. The Ego and what it stands for is inevitable, in other words as compassionate and sensitive as the Empath may be, facing their own Ego is unavoidable and inescapable. However, there is an enormous difference between an Empathic Ego and the Ego of the masses. The Empath’s sole purpose is to facilitate healing in others. Unfortunately, because of their Ego mind and how it operates, they usually ignore their own needs, they have a propensity to feel what is going on outside of them more so than what’s inside their own Spirit. Any area filled with disharmony creates distress in an Empath, if they find themselves in the middle of a conflict, they will strive to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Because of these natural tendencies, the unaware Empath often finds themselves staying in relationships with toxic personality for too long. Why does this happen? Many Empaths don’t realize what they are and go through life feeling used and unfulfilled, it isn’t easy being an introvert, highly intuitive and melancholic. What the Empath may be forced to learn later in life (because of an illness, or a terrible breakup) is how to face their own Ego and the ugly voice that keeps them living in the shadows of someone else. What many people seem to misunderstand about the Ego is that it can, in fact, be disempowered. Standing amongst enormous trees and gigantic foliage in the tropical rainforest, I listened to the powerful thunder of water falling hundreds of feet onto rocks and earth below. What I suddenly realized was for several minutes I had been completely devoid of my thoughts, above the noise I had been tentatively listening to the whispering voice of my Soul. What a beautiful gift it was indeed. I had received some very profound and divine guidance in relation to a situation I needed to understand more fully. In those few minutes (which seemed like hours) I was one with my Self like I had never been before. The Soul of an Empath is as pure as the diamonds that lay quietly hidden in the depths of the sea. Follow the Spirit of who you are and become a master at protecting your Self from the negative energies of the World. Learn to take care of YOU.  Much love and devotion Annanda

Little Morning Sunshine (blog) The Darkest Days....... The skies are clear and the sun is high in the sky, a perfect scenario for casting a black crystal like shadow of my Self on the boardwalk. When we were kids we used to entertain ourself with our shadow, making funny shapes and outlines as we skipped along, we laughed and giggled at our Self. Those days are gone of lighthearted childhood merriment, mentioning our shadow now takes on a whole new meaning. There is an expression, dark night of the soul which is a way of describing some of the most internally painful times in our life, this is because we are forced to face the part of our Self that we hate. As humans over time we accumulate a vast array of shadows within our psyche, this deep internal darkness is a culmination of what we have come to recognize about our Self that we dislike. At some stage of our existence in order to evolve our Soul, we must standoff with our Ego. Like a game of thrones, a conflict deep inside of us begins to take place. We have been resisting this war with our thoughts for far too long, we have been unconsciously avoiding this confrontation because we know it will be torturous. Once we recognize our Ego for the often loathsome and repulsive behaviours that it stands for, we begin to become more conscious and aware of ways in which we have managed our life in the past. Not so worthy of integrity may be the theme of this new awareness. Every human makes mis-takes during their time here on earth, after all our Ego begins to feed itself when we are very young. When we are vulnerable to our surroundings because of programmed beliefs about our Self, there is a tendency to make choices and decisions that do not fair us well. Every mis-take we have made is stored in our Ego mind and categorized like books in a well-kept library. The Ego draws from this information centre which more often than not constantly reminds us of our negative, pessimistic and cynical Self, in other words, the part of us we hate. Dark are the days when the Night appears, there is no avoiding the work that it requires us to face, for without the darkness there is no possible method to make our way to the pure light of our Soul. Little Morning Sunshine (Blog) Good and Wrong...... As humans, we are meant to undo our wrong behaviours and ultimately transform our goodness out into the world. Good is represented by trust and honesty, the solid integrity of who we are. Be a good person Buddha said, embrace joy, fearlessness and compassion. How do we find our way through fear when we have been taught only to be in constant unease and doubt? Humans are hesitant to listen to the gracious and wise voice within themselves, the likelihood of taking the Souls advise is very small in comparison to the how much of our life belongs to our Ego mind. It is our life mission to understand the difference between good and wrong not only in our Self but in others as well. Every challenge, obstacle and hardship which we face as life goes on, has one purpose to show us, and that is how much of our integrity is intact. Trustworthiness can be a complicated matter, do you honestly trust the voice which speaks to you from the core of your being, or would it be the clamour inside of your head that demands your undivided attention? There is no escaping the crooked facts, there are humans in our world who will misrepresent themselves. They think nothing of dishonouring, defaming, and misrepresenting the truth for their own selfish requirements, wrong are these people and so stay clear of their path. There is no need to condemn those who wish to wastefully squander their life away, the choice is theirs alone and no right-minded person will be skilled enough to change their minds, so leave them be. Allow your Spirit to focus on that which is morally right for you, for it is in the goodness of what we learn about our Self that allows us to journey with dignity and merit. There will always be good and wrong in the world we must live, from the beginning of time, we have fought battles against evil beliefs. However the time has come now for all of us to take our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health more seriously, don’t you agree you are worthy and deserving of your Self-love? Little Morning Sunshine (blog) A Flash Of Lightning....... A flash of lightning is the measure of our lifetime here on this earth, and consequently, for that reason, we should become a skilful master of how to live. Day by day our experiences mould the vital life force that speaks to our Soul. Our immortal Self must be allowed to thrive on that which provides sustenance to feed its hungry appetite for adventure. As humans we wildly dream of what we wish we had, what we could want, if only there was and when I become….will there ever be the perfect time to put your dreaming into action? Life has one goal, it was a promise we made to our Self before we came, to find out who we are. The meaning of our life is to know who we are before we die. We are meant to have relationships along our journey, but the most meaningful relationship is supposed to be with our Self. Our obligations are many, our responsibilities overwhelm at the best of times we know, duty, honour and loyalty hold us hostage from what is essential. Our suffering is the journey to the realization of who we are, therefore what and how we suffer must not go in vain. To grant our Self the honour of a connection to our Soul does not come without a dedicated commitment. The allegiance we make with our Spirit must be with loyal fidelity. The path to Self realization has many twists and curves, and yet our attentiveness to detail will never go unnoticed. As we begin to shift the suffering from our insides to the external, our pressures and burdens seemingly melt away, like ice on a scorching payment on a hot hot summer day. A flash of lightning is what we often say to measure the length of our life thus far, how quickly the years have passed. How many years do you have left and how are you going to live those left? Much love and devotion Annanda
