Chimney replacement today - an old Oliver MacLeod Square-A chimney - with a new Selkirk UltimateONE. Inside was also changed to double wall pipe - the old single wall was too close to combustibles (a violation of code) which was actually missed by the last inspector. http://rawchimney.com/chimney-install-mactier/

Chimney Sweeps in Wasaga Beach. Chimney Sweeps in Collingwood. Chimney Sweeps in Blue Mountains - Near Osler Bluffs. WETT Inspections in Tiny Township. That was today - heading out in morning to Wasaga Beach and working over into Grey County - working with a lady there who had a tremendous creosote deposits in flue pipes and chimney. Said was cleaned last year - if so a lot of deposits. Will work with her to find out if that is really the level of deposits she gets or what. She also needs a taller chimney but she wants to wait until spring for that as it is not impacting draft. Then an hour plus drive back and finishing off day in dark doing WETT Inspections (had to do the outside part first while still some daylight). Yes I work on Saturdays - pretty much every one as my wife also works so I might as well. Then take day during week off when she is off. Works better and makes sense. If you need chimney cleaned be sure to call! http://rawchimney.com
