Midland has a variety of things for the family to enjoy. Tour our historic downtown and take the self-guided tour of the Midland Murals painted by local artists and inspired by Midland’s diverse history and culture. Midland is home to the largest historical mural in North America which is featured on the water side of the ADM grain mill and represents an aerial view of Sainte-Marie Among the Huron.

We offer plenty of parking in our many municipal lots downtown, with easy access to many unique shops, boutiques and eateries.
Local attractions include the Midland Cultural Centre, Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons, Martyrs’ Shrine, the Huronia Museum, Discovery Harbour, Awenda Provincial Park, Georgian Bay Islands National Park as well as boat tours in the summer time.
Looking to spend some time outdoors? Midland has more than 320 acres of parks. Enjoy swimming, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, baseball and soccer at one of our many parks Our parks also feature playgrounds, a free Frisbee golf course and pavilions and grass areas to enjoy a picnic. Cyclists and pedestrians will enjoy the 7.5km waterfront trail. If you are out with your dog, Little Lake Park has a well-groomed and fenced dog park.
