Cancer has touched all of us. Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime!

With the help of our caring community (Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny), we raised over $107,000 last year for cancer research. Despite some issues with rain, a power outage, and lingering COVID concerns on Run Day, this was our highest donation level since 2006. We ranked eleventh highest contributing site of almost 200 similar events in Ontario.

This year our Terry Fox Run will be held at Perkinsfield Park on Sunday, September 17th. Please come out at 9 am and spend the morning with us. In addition to a 2 km, 5 km and 10 km Run, we'll have plenty of music, free food and activities for the kids to enjoy. There will also be an online auction held from September 7th – 17th, 2023 with over 100 amazing items up for grabs. Please support Terry Fox and raise funds for cancer research.

Guided by Terry's wishes, our research spans a wide variety of cancer including melanomas, leukemias, prostate, pancreatic, lung and brain cancers.

We had an amazing turnout at our Terry Fox Day in the Heart of Georgian Bay on Sunday, September 15th! Over $90,000.00 was raised with money still coming in and our local merchants, artists, friends, and family helped us reach the unprecedented total of $10,776.00 in the Silent Auction. We are so grateful to be living in the Heart of Georgian Bay.
