My sister recently moved to Midland and is in a local retirement home. We've contacted Georgian Bay Mobility (GBM) twice now and their service has been incredible. We worked with a major reclining chair manufacturer over a period of about 3 months only to discover they and their warranty service provider were unable to repair the chair. It took 6 weeks for them just to come to assess the chair 6 weeks to get all the parts they said were necessary and 6 weeks to come back to fix the chair. Then they said it wasn't a chair made by them??? Three months wasted for nothing! We contacted GBM they suggested replacing the remote control for the chair, the part was available within two days and the chair was working the next day, no fuss, no bother, no other parts necessary. Yesterday we went back to GBM to see if they had handle grips for a walker. They had a different style available that were better than the original handles. They installed the grips withing minutes then inspected the rest of the walker. They repaired the back strap and adjusted the brakes. We basically have a reconditioned walker that is safe, no charge for the labour and only $20.00 for the handle grips. Staff were wonderful we'll certainly go first to them for any of our mobility needs ( service and purchasing) and highly recommend them to family, friends or anyone for their mobility requirements. Over the last year I have had to make many purchases from the Mobility Centre in Midland. My dad just turned 90 yrs. and recently had another heart attack. We just bought a new electric lazy boy recliner. We feel blessed that when we bought it we saved about $300 because they were having a sale. So we got a $1700 chair for $1400.00 no tax and free delivery! Well the delivery was wonderful! They brought the chair in and set it up and explained everything. They were very polite!...great service!....shook our hands, even my dad's...now that's customer service. I really like their new location too!...makes a big difference when you can just drive in.....and walk right in the door! Thank you Mobility Centre!!!! Mary and Doug Archer and Mr. Ebner Day!
