Queen's Cove Marina

I am a sailboat owner and 4 year customer of Queens Cove Marina. I recently had an issue with a bent prop shaft and after some investigation it needed to be replaced along with a new strut, cutlass bearing, and motor mounts. Kat at Queens Cove provided the insurance company with an estimate and the work started. At first I was extremely hesitant on letting Queens Cove do the work based on information from others and my own experience. I really did not have any faith in their ability to do a proper job. I am happy to report that the work was done at a very high level and in fact the repairs are better and stronger than original. I don't believe any other marina could have done a better job. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars not for the work but I believe there could have been better planning and better communication.

The only problem with this facility is the weeds, in the dock and channel areas, They don't seem to have any control over getting rid of the weeds and it causes over heating problems with stern drive boats or any boat with fresh water intake. Also the marina is getting older and needs some updating which the owners don't seem to want to spend the money to do
