Purchased two medium sized Sugar Maples from Mountainview Nurseries in Aug 2016 for $700.00. These trees were planted by a representative of the Nursery in late Sep 2016 for an addiional $400.00. One of the trees seems to be doing well, but the other seems to be in distress. It did not fully leaf out in the spring and is showing many dead sprigs throughout. Beginning in May/June 2017 I visited the nursery asking them to send someone out to look at the tree and give me some advice as to its health and possible remedies. I have received no response to at least 4 additional visit to the nursery as well as leaving a telephone message that was not returned. It seems like this business is vary interested in making sales but not very attentive to following upon after sales. The warranty on the tree is up in September and without receiving the courtesy of any answer to my requests, I must assume there may be delay to try and avoid a warranty claim. In my latest visit, about a week ago, I reminded the Nursery staff of my many visits on this subject and advised that failure to get back to me would result in some unfavourable publicity. So this review should come as no surprise to them.
