Had dinner with my son and daughter-in-law and not only was the company great, the meal we had was fantastic! Customer service actually exists at this place. Who knew! Prices are geared for every budget. Definitely will be going back.

Lunch with friends who recommended Moms. Had the hot beef sandwich, it was the best I have ever had! Delicious tasting, very tender beef with an exceptionally large amount of beef. No skimping on the beef in this sandwich.

Never disappoints. Had the new Prime Rib dinnner and it was spectacular- superior cut of meat. My spouse always enjoys the traditional liver and onions. Home cooked, ample portions, delicious served by courteous and friendly staff.

We have been going to Mom's, whenever we take a short road trip to Midland, for about 5 years now.
Every single time has been amazing, except yesterday. Don't get me wrong. The food is always very good and yesterday was also very good. Service was excellent also. My only complaint was the waiters cologne. Every single time he came to our table or even passed by, I literally tasted it along with my food. Please ask your staff to ease up on perfumes and colognes. Many are allergic to these strong smells, as they can cause headaches, even migraines. Otherwise, everything was fine. Thank you

The wife and I were looking for something to do Saturday Apr. 20th, so we took a road trip and landed at Mom's Restaurant in Midland. We were served by Elsa and she was very attentive. She listened to everything we had to say and helped us with our choices. The service was quick, the food was just like homemade and we were treated like family. Thank you to Elsa for her kindness and to the chef, whomever that was, your food rocked. We will be back.

Have been a customer of Mom's for about 4 or 5 years now. Food is good and the portions decent, prices are reasonable. Elsa is my fave server there!! She knows what I always order and tries to make sure it 100% correct!

Terrible meal. Poor service. Menu hasn't changed in decades. My meal was inedible. The meat was so tough I couldn't cut it with my knife. I left 60% of my meal. There was no apology, no offer of something different, didn't even offer to give me my coffee for free. I will never go to this place again.

We recently discovered this fabulous restaurant and everything we’ve tried so far was delicious - the prime rib, rack of ribs, fish, soup, sandwiches, salads, coleslaw and desserts were exceptional! Service is excellent - everyone is very attentive and helpful. Our first visit was for lunch and our server James was very pleasant. We’ve been back twice now for dinner and our server Elsa has been so cheerful. We look forward to our next visit (and it’s worth the 40 minute drive from Orillia!)

We are in Midland frequently and come to your restaurant. We like brunch and order some sort of poached egg dish (Eggs Benedict frequently). We rarely get the eggs done the way we ask. The server asked how we would like them …. we say soft/runny. Majority are always firm/dry. So why ask how we want them if this is the way they come ? Today …. same situation. When we noted to the server, all she said was “sorry about that”. When we were finished, she asked us if we wanted a complimentary desert. No … we just wanted to enjoy our Eggs Benedict ! By the way, the restaurant was not busy. There were only about 5 or 6 tables with people at them, so the kitchen was not overwhelmed.

Visited for dinner on the 8thMar23..the waitress was excellent..she told of the Lasagna ..of which i ordered...YUK..it was garbage..bland..no taste...Coffee was luke warm..the soup was good...the apple crisp was great....Service was great...
I love this place as the food is usually piping hot and delicious...What Happened???

Don’t EVER order the lasagna if it is offered as a special. It is by far the worst lasagna that I have have ever eaten in my life. TOTALLY TASTELESS

The food was great. Our server named Elsa was very kind, was always making sure that we were attended too, and always answered questions with a smile.

This review has nothing to do with the food or service as its satisfactory but rather in regards to the owner.
My wife was hired as GM to help run the restaurant as the owner needed to take some time for his family and himself away from the business. After a very short period of time my wife was told that his wife felt that he is unable to stay away from the business and that it's a waste of money spent on someone. So she was let go. When asked if she could stay on as a wait staff he said he would call and let her know. No call as you can imagine. Why would you consider hiring someone for this type of position when you havnt really thought it through. No worries as I know my wife will find something soon as she has plenty of experience in this role. Very disappointed with this individual and to use the excuse that his wife made the decision. Who wears the pants in this situation... also to add that they close Monday and Tuesday due to short staffed. Now I'm confused. Beware of this man as he is not all what you may think of him when he walks around and pretends to greet you and welcomes you to have a meal.

We began frequenting Mom’s over twenty years ago, at the time both our parents moved to Midland. Mom’s was their favourite go to restaurant, and now it has become ours.
We visit Mom’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner at various times, during any given month.
The service as well as the food are exceptional.
Louis, the owner, always makes a point of visiting each table and chatting with the patrons. He certainly does make you feel welcome.
Several members of his staff have been with him for many years and always take excellent care of you, as do the other servers.
If you haven’t visited Mom’s for a meal, please do so, you will not regret it.

Had the pleasure of dining out on June 24 with family members from Alberta and North Bay. In total, 8 people with diverse tastes in food. Excellent service, each of our meals piping hot. To the staff and owners of Mom’s, thank you! You have made us very proud of living in this area!

Very disappointed and won’t be back. The eggs Benedict was a disaster. The Hollandaise was powdered and lumpy and the pea-meal was thick and dry and my wife’s veggie omelette was almost devoid of veggies and overcooked. The waiter was terrific and also apologetic.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at Mom's. We meet there for coffee once a week and breakfast once a month. Food is always great, and James is our Server. He is amazing! Always has a smile and is quick and friendly.
Only complaint is , they charge extra for Rye Bread, and Bathrooms need updating. Need more than 2 stalls.

Stopped in for brunch today, restaurant was packed…..great to be out again and hearing people laughing, as usual the service is exceptional, the restaurant is spotlessly clean, food is awesome and fairly priced and the servers were just flying but kept the coffee flowing…..looked like the owners were on the floor with the staff, that always makes a big difference, thanks for the smiles and a kick start to our day!

Disappointed ! We were seated at table 18. Then we sat there for 30 minutes waiting for a waiter, no one came. While we waited another two ladies came in , were greeted ordered and served their meals. As we were not getting a meal , we left. I advised the staff they seemed confused !

We have been coming to moms for years. Friends ,family ,reunions and others have enjoyed get togethers. Luis and his staff are excellent and welcome you each time you come. In times of stress like now with Covid this is a great restaurant to visit. High precautions are followed. The food is excellent and the staff are diligent, friendly and caring. Give it a try. You won't regret your choice.

My husband and his siblings, along with there spouses go away every fall for a few days vacation. We stumbled across Mom's and fell in love. From the AMAZING food selection.....fantastic taste and wonderfully friendly, accurate and welcoming, staff...we went back 3 times. We often talk about " Mom's " when we get together and our mouths water at the thought of the seafood....salad bar, steak....dessert. mmmmm. I'm ready to go back. ( we are a party of 8)

Food was excellent and they were very accommodating. We had a party of 5 so they pulled more tables and chairs to seat us. our server, Elsa was excellent. it was very busy but she was able to keep checking on us and brining us more coffee.

I was so happy to find Mom's Restaurant for dinner when I hiked in Midland. They provide delicious food and excellent service. Elsa was so nice and Louie the owner impressed us so much with his big friendly smile. For sure I will come again.

I retired this May and have been living on our boat since then. Most days, I have been coming to Mom's for breakfast and several times, we have been to Mom's for supper. My wife is retiring this coming May 2020 and we have been looking for a place in the Midland area to live when this happens. The service, quality and great atmosphere of Mom's restaurant is a big influence on our decision to relocate to Midland. Thanks for the BEST food, excellent service and great price of all your meals. Visited 12 years ago with my late Father and whilst sorting some of his things came across an old advert for Mom's diner. Went to the website and was immediately transported back to a very happy time with my Dad and the fantastic breakfast we had before setting off to Niagara Falls. A lovely trip down memory lane.

I went to Mom’s probably 30 or more years ago on a business trip to Pillsbury in Midland. The other day I was in Midland and my friend suggested Mom’s. I had forgotten my earlier trip until we arrived in the parking lot. The ambiance was wonderful and friendly. The food quality was spectacular. The dish sizes were huge - no room for dessert. The price was reasonable and offered true value for your money. I will make it my go to place when I am in Midland.

Very good and tasty food at good prices. Portions are large and above all the serving staff was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. The place is tidy and well kept. Congrats.

Four friends and I came for dinner on our way to the legion to play darts. was not my choice but was out voted. I had the special which was lasagna with salad bar. It was amazing, lots of it with garlic bread. The service was outstanding also. I did not want to eat here but now can't wait go back and try other things on the menu. tip of the hat to Elsa, she made us all feel special.

A bus group of 48 had a wonderful lunch at Mom's Restaurant. The food was great and service impeccable for such a large group. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely go back again and recommend it highly.

Had a wonderful luncheon after a funeral I attended today. My aunt used to go there often and always enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. The servers showed us great hospitality...service was very efficient and the food great especially the Greek Salad.....I recommend a meal at Mom's!??

It's been a few years since I've been back to the Midland area, coming into Mom's restaurant is like coming home. Food, ambience, wonderful staff.... Louie and Frannie have outdone themselves in what it takes to run an establishment as fine as this! Look forward to returning soon!

Had a wonderful dinner here on Father's day. Such friendly staff and great service. Nice to be able to take our Dad and our grandson and everyone found something they could really enjoy on the menu. Family restaurants like Mom's are the best. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Always a pleasant experience at Mom's the service is top notch and the food is always great. If you are on a tight timeline you always can be assured that Mom's will be able to get you in and out in a timely manner. Midland is fortunate to have Mom's as an establishment

Had lunch at Mom's Restaurant today. I really enjoyed the Hungry Mans Breakfast! The service was fast and friendly. We ordered and had our meals within 5 minutes. Compliments to the chef - Tyler Watts.

Moms is a great place to get an all day breakfast! Great fast and friendly service and the restaurant always has a great atmosphere. Judging by the number of people there whenever we go it must be a favourite place for a lot of locals and tourists alike.

This restaurant is delightful. The atmosphere is very comfortable, food and service wonderful. A must try. The parking lot there is very full on Sunday morning's.
