About Us

Landscape artist Lu Robitaille works primarily in water colours.  Her non traditional technique gives her the freedom to create the many faces of Huronia and Georgian Bay in the purest way she can.  She specializes in commissions primarily of the area;  permitting  her clients to retain the unmistakable beauty and places in time they wish to remember.

Her certificate of achievement with the Canadian Picture Framers School (Ontario) Inc. permits her to polish the end product with her own unique framing.

In addition to framing her own art, Lu has made available, Ltd. Edition and Open Edition Giclee Prints. She has greeting cards available and occasionally, Lu surprises folks with her use of Georgian Bay Shell, birch bark and miniature art creations relating to nature.  She feels inspired by her Metis heritage.

Lu has showcased her work in such places at St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, Lakewood Center for the Arts in Oregon, El Dorado Gallery Colorado Springs, Gallery on the Lake Buckhorn, Ottawa's Aberdeen Pavilion, private clubs on Georgian Bay and private homes to mention a few. In addition to her many awards and honours, Lu has organized well over 100 shows with the desire to communicate the vast, diverse, untouched jewel she calls home.
