The flesh ranges in color from yellow to deep orange and is soft, juicy, and filled with many cream-colored seeds. Seville oranges, are a bitter variety that grow on evergreen trees. Seville oranges earned their name from Seville, Spain where they were first grown. They are now also grown in California. This variety of oranges make the best Orange Marmalade and usually are available in grocery stores for a short time in late January.
