Hike for Hospice on Sunday May 27 2018 at Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. Registration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and hike starting at 1 p.m.

Hospice Huronia offers a LIVING WELL Day Program to provide social and emotional support in a safe environment through meaningful activities to those living with chronic and life limiting illness. It can also provide respite for caregivers and ease of mind for their loved ones. Activities may include arts and craft, music therapy, table games or special guests. The program is offered Thursday afternoons from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with light lunch provided. Pre-registration is required. Hospice Huronia announces that a 5-bed residential hospice will be ready to open in the fall of 2018 in the town of Penetanguishene. We are excited to offer many volunteer opportunities for ages 14+. These volunteer opportunities include hospitality, internet research/marketing, fundraising/event, library resource and administrative, gardening as well as visiting and bereavement volunteers. Come join our dynamic team of staff and volunteers who bring comfort, care and compassion to our communities and we want YOU to be a part of that team!
