We are very excited to include Food Network Canada as one of our festival sponsors this year! And equally excited to announce that you can meet Rachel Smith and Jean Parker, hosts of Food Network Canada's The Baker Sisters at the Midland Cultural Centre from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on June 9. Rachel and Jean own Maple Key Tart Co, a boutique pop-up butter tart company, and they will be happy to talk butter tarts with you and pose for photos.

Friday, June 1 is National Butter Tart Day! To celebrate, we are encouraging you to pay it forward with butter tarts. Buy a butter tart for your friend or boss, bring butter tarts in to work for your co-workers, or bake butter tarts with the kids or grand kids. We can't wait to welcome you to our festival on June 9. 180,000 butter tarts...are you drooling yet?
