One thing is for sure...all you need is Lady Luck to play Bingo. The game of Bingo is kind of like a lottery. The player purchases one or more cards, which are divided into numbered squares from 1 to 75. Once the game commences, the player scans their card(s) as the caller calls out the numbers. If a called number appears on the card it is marked off for the duration of the game. The first player to achieve the pre-determined pattern, in which all the numbers have been called shouts “BINGO!” and wins! Angel Gate Bingo was opened in April 1994 by the Orser Family. Currently Angel Gate is home to 59 different local charity groups, who are licensed to operate bingo sessions in order to raise money for their worthwhile causes. The money raised ends up back in Penetang-Midland and the surrounding communities, making the area a better place in which to live.
